SleepTalk™ For Children

Did you know a few simple words spoken to your child at night while they sleep can make a profound difference to their self-esteem, confidence and view of the world?

What is SleepTalk™?

The Goulding SleepTalk™ process is for children with difficulties, and children with none. It’s for every parent and caregiver who wants their children to reach their potential, whatever that potential may be.

This is a parenting tool to assist children in a gentle way to reinforce, encourage and enhance their self-esteem and help make their lives more positive. It’s about fertilising your child’s mind with the power of the positive, and giving your child the greatest gift of all: an attitude of happiness and confident self-esteem.

Why Use SleepTalk™?

“Sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me” is normally said with some conviction however we all know words have the power to build or destroy, comfort or hurt. Our world is built up by how we process words and information, either accepting or rejecting them based on our subconscious belief system. Our beliefs then determine our reactions and behaviours.

Younger children are vulnerable to accepting negative suggestions with the same energy as positive ones as they are in a constant state of learning subconsciously and consciously. If your child’s belief structure is one based largely on fear or lack of confidence, a feeling of rejection or inadequacy, the ensuing decisions made by their conscious mind will of course reflect those beliefs.

If we have positive beliefs it makes it easier to deal with the constant change in our lives, we are more flexible, experience less frustration and have better coping systems.

SleepTalkTM works with changing any negative beliefs and turning them into more positive and useful ones.

How Does It Work?

It is a simple process where the parent/caregiver delivers specific words to their child, taking 3-4 minutes each night while their child sleeps over 3-6 months. The words deliver suitable beliefs and life-strategies, which then become ‘ingrained habits’. The results are changes in behaviours and beliefs.

Working with children while they are asleep, enables a bypass of the conscious, critical, judgemental mind that acts on any negative beliefs and taps into the subconscious mind where the beliefs are stored.
